This is a qualification awarded by the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. Consultants possessing this qualification are usually on the Specialist Register of the GMC and have the requisite experience and expertise to assess and manage patients with Chronic Pain and related conditions.
